Bon Voyage!

Today I'd like to raise a glass to me and you.

We are fabulous.

Some days we are socialites, stomping all over town in fabulous shoes, sipping martinis and shooting winks across the room.

Or we're working girls, striding into the room in Katharine Hepburn trousers, dazzling with our wits, kicking a** and taking business cards.

We're philanthropists, reaching out on behalf of the causes we care about, putting on a smock to paint with kids or pulling on our sneakers for a 5k.

We're creative- we craft, we write, we cook, we sing and we style ourselves with panache.

Truth be told, we're kinda awesome. We're hot. We're smart. We work it. Hard.

Except for some days, when we're... not. Some days we don't feel like we're shining quite as bright as we hoped.

These twenties are tricky. We're as energetic and excited and beautiful and fast as we'll ever be, but we have martini tastes on tap water budgets. There are plenty of places to trip up- there are careers and friendships and finances and guys and health and style and maybe even a nagging little clock ticking in the back of your mind. We've been told our whole lives that we can have it all- but juggling lessons weren't included!!

What I want to talk about here is confidence. Confidence is the keystone that holds it all together. It's the stepping stone from being the girl in the borrowed dress and last year's shoes to strutting like a head-turning glamour girl. It's the jump from frazzled assistant to corner office. It's the path to really living, instead of just holding it all together. Confidence isn't all you need, but if you don't have it, it doesn't matter what else you've got.

So that's why I'm here. I want to share some of the pearls of wisdom I've collected along my path, to ask your advice and to finagle tips out of the women I admire most. Buckle your seatbelts my pretties!

So here's to us! We're on the way to having it all- and living it up on the way!

Cheers ladies! To Success... and the Single Girl!
